I've decided to give the Z new paint & smoked corners this year to compliment its TT performance and lose the bra that hid its mismatched color. I saw a car getting soda blasted as part of its restoration on TV so I looked into it.
This front bumper had already been repainted once so I didnt want to just paint over it again. The guy reduced the pressure because the urethane was getting too hot during the blasing. Cost = $220 for about 1.5 hrs work & it's as smooth as a baby's bum. He also did the side mirror stands(smooth grey metal) and front center panel....now it's back to the hood's south bronx paint booth for PPG paint & Lorenzo's tinting([ http://lorenzotintny.com ])...I'll post when completed.
